February, March....

These months pretty much consisted of school, school, amd more school. Some highlights include:
  • For Valentine's Day, I had a candlelit dinner with my children. We ate heart shaped pepperoni pizzas. We made them together. My kids thought it was the coolest thing in the world to eat in the dark with only the light from the candles.
  • I had a urinalysis lab class. I actually loved looking at pee under a microscope. Add some dye, and it's pretty! (Call me weird, call me gross... lol!)
  • Had a pharmacy class taught by a chiropractor...don't get me started.
  • The Leprechauns visited us on St. Patrick's Day and left gold and chocolates. Then we had corned beef, cabbage, carrots and potatoes and soda bread. It was delicious, and both Christy and Wesley had seconds.
  • The last weekend in March, I went to Newport Beach with some of my very best friends. It was good to get away. We saw Conan, Mark Christopher Lawrence and Mickey Mouse. What more could a girl ask for?
  • April Fools I posted on Facebook that I was engaged to my friend, Deven. Sorry, APRIL FOOLS! I'm not even dating anyone. So if you were hoping for that gig, you can now submit your application! ;-)
Tonight I am going to Christy's author fair to see what stories and creations she has made in kindergarten. My children never cease to amaze me in how creative and fantastic they are.

I am doing ok. Not great, but okay. There's alot emotionally going on, but I think it's mostly hormones and circumstances that are out of my control. So, I'm dealing. I guess.
Well, there's some brief posts to hold you over for now!

January: Sundance.

I get so mad at myself for not blogging sometimes. But, life goes on, and I get over it. But then I miss blogging again. Well, so much has been going on.
In January, I had the amazing opportunity to go back up to Sundance Film Festival and work with some awesome people. I also got to see several amazing (and some not-so-amazing) films. Some I have already signed up on Amazon.com for alerts. The films I loved most and highly recommend were: (In no particular order)
Buck

The Salesman

The Details
I couldn't find a clip for this, but it's a great film starring Tobey Maguire. After 10 years of marriage Jeff (Maguire) and his wife Nealy have a son, a nice home and a marriage that has lasted. After laying the sod for his backyard, a family of raccoons repeatedly tear up his backyard. This leads to poison, an affair, some crazies, and some hilarious moral holes. It's a must see.

Margin Call
Okay, couldn't find a clip for this either. This guy Sullivan (Zachary Quinto) is basically a rocket scientist working as an entry-level analyst for a company in the financial industry. He finds some information that could potentially be the downfall of the company. It's pretty fast moving and very interesting.

Perfect Sense
With Ewan McGregor and Eva Green, I knew this was going to be a great film.

In A Better World

These were a few of my favorite films. Perfect Sense and In A Better World were probably my most favorite. But all of the films were so well done.
